Memory and storage specialist GOODRAM is at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK this year to promote and educate Middle East users about its various products and brands.

“GOODRAM is a Polish company and while we started out as distributors back in 1991, since then we have expanded to include manufacturing. We first started producing memory products in 2003 and in 2005 we began flash production,” explains Tomeq Cwienk, Public Relations and Marketing Manager, GOODRAM.

The company is promoting a number of its products this year in categories such as internal storage, portable storage and more. “GOODRAM has a wide range of products. This year we are promoting our SSD drives. We have two different types; SSD GOODRAM Play and SSD GOODRAM Pro. The Play series drives can be had with 32GB or 64GB of capacity and target value buyers who want good performance on a budget. The Pro series however is for extreme users with no budget constraints. These drives are available with capacities of 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and even 512GB. All of our SSDs use Toshiba controllers and NAND Flash,” says Cwienk.

The company is also showing off its wide range of internal memory products as well. “With internal memory we have three different types; GOODRAM Value, GOODRAM Play and GOODRAM Pro. The Play and Pro series target value power users and extreme users respectively,” says Cwienk.

GOODRAM setup a local office in Dubai back in 2006. The office is responsible for the Middle East and Africa.
