Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has unveiled three new e-services provided by its Notary Public Section.

The three new e-services are displayed for visitors at ADJD’s stand in addition to several other current e-services. The unveiling is another step that supports ADJD’s efforts to achieve the objectives of its 2008-2013 strategy, which includes easy access to justice services through use of the latest IT technologies.

To obtain the three services — Power of Attorney, Signature Approval, or Declaration —from the Notary Public requires only a few clicks on the screen of any computer from any place, according to an Abu Dhabi Judicial Department press statement.

The customer can select the service required, choose which branch of Notary Public to visit, specify the time most convenient to sign the document and enter the required details.

Once the application is successfully submitted, the applicant will receive an SMS on his mobile phone with confirmation and the reference number of the transaction. After verifying the required information is full and accurate, the applicant will receive another SMS approving the transaction or asking for other required documents, if needed.

Applicants will only need to visit the Notary Public section at the time and place specified to sign and collect their documents.

ADJD is demonstrating e-services provided through mobile phone applications and SMS. The e-kiosk, plasmas and touch displays will offer services such as online customer feedback.
