Visitors to Etisalat’s stand in Zabeel Hall are being treated to a wide ranging view of how the latest telecoms technology, including LTE, is set to transform everyday life.

Themed under ‘Your Future Starts Here’, Etisalat is showcasing futuristic technologies that are tailored to suit the changing lifestyles of its diverse customer base.

“Etisalat’s focus this year has been on futuristic services, based on advanced technologies that will shape and empower businesses of tomorrow,” says Nasser Bin Obood Al Falasi Acting CEO, Etisalat.

“This year we will see many customised industry specific solutions being implemented and launched across these industries that will eventually outline the effective use of technology towards gaining business efficiencies,” he adds.

For business customers, Etisalat demonstrates new age technologies such as Cloud Computing and Machine to Machine (M2M) communications, and industry specific business solutions that will help empower businesses in the coming years.

Etisalat’s exhibition stand in Zabeel Hall has a dedicated zone to showcase a simulated digital home experience through Etisalat’s eLife services, which are based on a FTTH (Fiber-to-the-home) platform.

At the centre of Etisalat’s Long Term Evolution (LTE) demonstration is the Middle East’s first ‘connected car’, which reveals how high speed mobile networks will offer motorists a range of enhanced services, from navigation to entertainment.

A mobile broadband zone demonstrates the capabilities of next generation mobile networks including HSPA+ 3.75G technology that will provide users with speeds of up to 42MBps.

Etisalat’s stand also includes an interactive entertainment zone featuring the telco’s mobile gaming, entertainment portal, music store, apps store and more.
