eHosting Datafort (eHDF) will today launch a number of new server solutions at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK, aimed at filling a gap in the small-to-medium sized business market.

The dedicated server solutions are aimed at businesses that would normally be considered too small to be provided with a similar package.

Offered in what are knows as ‘Lite’ and ‘Premium’ packages, the managed service provider is hoping that it can capture a large part of a market that it believes has hitherto been neglected by larger global providers.

“Service providers and technology companies usually scale down solutions and products for small-to-medium sized businesses, but we are now able to offer a customised solution for this segment,” says Yasser Zeineldin, Chief Executive Officer of eHDF.

“This SMB sector has unique requirements that need to be addressed differently.

“With these new packages, eHDF is looking at addressing this gap in the market.

“In addition, we conducted research that provided us with valuable insights into this market, allowing us to offer a highly competitive package for a dedicated server as compared to other regional and international service providers or hosting the same servers in-house,” he adds.

“eHDF’s dedicated servers are equipped with the ability to address and improve the computing power needs of SMBs.

“The new packages will enable more enterprises to utilise high-end servers without investing upfront capital expenditures,” Zeineldin concludes.
