Fujitsu demystifies cloud computing
Fujitsu Solutions is using GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK to dispel many of the myths surround cloud computing
Fujitsu Solutions is using GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK to dispel many of the myths surround cloud computing, and to promote its range of solutions based around the emerging technology.
The company is seeking to ‘lead the conversation' when it comes to cloud technology, and is putting a heavy focus on demonstrating the technology to potential users to emphasise that cloud services are an evolution of existing infrastructure, as an opposed to a revolutionary one.
Fujitsu's participation in Cloud Confex and its focus on demonstrations at its stand is all part of its approach to educate attendees about the technology. "Cloud computing is a fairly disruptive technology and regional enterprises will gradually realise its benefits with the right level of education on its advantages," explains Chandan Mehta, Product Manager at Fujitsu Technology Solutions.
"There is a lot of clutter when it comes to cloud computing services and this is something we will be addressing at GITEX. We view cloud computing services as an evolution, not a revolution, and predict cloud services to become a dynamic map of highly automated business activities in the region. We have been developing cloud computing technologies by looking at the emerging changes in society and how technology can help people cope with those changes - what we call a human-centric standpoint.
"Our emphasis will be on technology demonstration, with presentations and live demonstration of our global cloud portal, available now in certain countries," adds Mehta.

You are absolutely correct in saying "a lot of clutter in cloud computing services" since this is a big canvas sketched with numerous strokes of cloud computing colors. Anyone to be successful in the region must offer a local story?
