Taiwanese-component and hardware titan Asus is focusing on its range of high-end products at this year’s GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

Visitors can see the company’s range of 3D-enabled monitors, netbooks and overclocker and enthusiast-aimed ‘Republic of Gamer’ (ROG) series of motherboards and graphics cards.

“Asus is present at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEK consistently. We’ve already exhibited directly or indirectly at this show for the last seven years,” explains Ericson Correa, Business Development Manager, Asus. “We’re appearing this year in order to showcase our product line and show our support to our partners in the region as well as to meet prospective Middle East customers,” he continues.

The computer hardware firm has a broad range of products but mainly focuses on component and system business in the Middle East region.

One key focus for Asus this year is to enhance its presence in the Middle East through its various partners. Promoting its flagship products to consumers in the region is also part of the company’s agenda.

The Middle East market is one of Asus’ key focus areas and the company reckons the annual GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK is critical to its success. “The MEA region is a key focus for Asus as a company. Each market within the region is equally important to us and we put an equal effort into each and every one of them. GITEX has historically been a meeting point for vendors and customers across the region, so it’s an important exhibition for us,” concludes Correa.
