DSO, which is a wholly-owned entity of the Government of Dubai, is using this year’s GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK to boost its presence and work on building relationships with investors and companies working mainly in the high technology and ICT sectors.

The past year has been extremely busy for Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), as it continued to forge ahead with its plan to become a “universally recognised state-of-the-art technology oasis”.

Adnan Al Bahar, VP of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, added that GITEX gives it the chance to share the range of facilities that it provides with investors and potential partners, as well as the support systems it offers to start up and flourish within the park.

“We are committed to facilitating and promoting IT-based industries, and research and development, within a fully integrated community,” comments Al Bahar.

He insists that GITEX is the right platform for the organisation to promote its value proposition and highlight what it can offer to companies in terms of resources, expertise and infrastructure.

“DSO’s solid value proposition and Free-Zone benefits include competitive cost of operations, state-of-the-art infrastructure, advanced IT network, 100% ownership and, above all, an environment specifically designed for the tech industry,” he says.
