SHARP’S innovative range of display products are set to form the mainstay of its presence at this year’s GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

The consumer electronics and office products giant is out to demonstrate the breadth of its offering, with its LCD TV range set for top billing.

The company manufactures products that fit into a number of areas, including consumer electronics, home appliances, business solutions — such as multi-function printers and copiers — and solar PV panels.

“This year — in its 30th year — GITEX is the right event to launch some of our new technologies in the region,” says Altaf Jasnaik, Corporate Communications and Branding Manager at Sharp.

“With 100 years of innovation behind it, Sharp has always been the ‘bringer’ of new technologies that change the way we live our lives. Many more ground-breaking innovations are expected to come from Sharp and this year we intend to showcase our display technologies here.”

Sharp is set to showcase what it claims is the ‘world’s-slimmest bezel LCD TV’ and will also be exhibiting its Aquos Quattron (a 4 prime colour LCD TV technology with LED backlight), the 3D Quattron LED TV and a 108-inch LCD model. Its full range of 3D projectors will be available for GITEX visitors to see in all their glory too.

Sharp MEA is the regional subsidiary of Japan’s Sharp Corporation and serves more than 80 countries.
