Brother Gulf has rolled out a sales programme which is designed to ensure the availability of its printing equipment and consumables across the local channel.

The company’s ‘First Channel Incentive Programme’, which will run from now until the end of March 2011, is built on a target-based incentive structure. The vendor hopes the move will lead to an increase in sales and market share, as well as strengthen its installed base.

Brother informed resellers about the new programme during its recent dealer conference in Dubai, which saw attendance from more than 125 partners.

“The dealer incentive programme we have launched, which was attended by every single one of our partners, was just the first step towards developing a closer relationship with them,” said Shinji Tada, managing director of Brother Gulf.

Brother says IDC research shows that the UAE’s colour laser multi-function printer market is expected to grow 27% by 2011.
