PC and Electronics provider Touchmate is all about innovation at this year’s GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK, according to its Imports and Exports Manager, Kamal Kumar.

The firm offers a huge range of gadgets and devices, which visitors to Touchmate’s booth in the Consumer Electronics section will have a chance to play with.

“This year we will focus on many new, innovative products and the key line-up will include 3D gaming computers, our wide range of multimedia speakers and other fascinating gadgets.

One device that has got Touchmate excited is its used battery charger, which it claims is a “world first”. According to the company, the product can activate the chemicals of used batteries and increase the voltage, allowing them to be used again up to 40 times.

“Touchmate is a famous and established brand name and we have been in this region for 22 years,” says Kumar. “There are several objectives for us this year. GITEX provides a platform to meet and greet our worldwide partners and showcase our new product line up and roadmap. New Touchmate product launches will also happen at the same time.”

Kumar insists GITEX plays a major role in conveying its messages to the mass market, and says the Middle East region is vital to the company’s operations.

“Touchmate headquarters are based in UAE, which itself explains how important the Middle East region is to the company,” he adds.
