Office products and electronics powerhouse Sharp is all set to demonstrate its product breadth, with its LCD TVs poised for top billing this year.

The firm manufactures products that fit into multiple categories, including electronics, home appliances, printing solutions and solar PV panels.

“We recognise that GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK is the right platform to showcase our unique one-of-a-kind technologies in the region,” says Altaf Jasnaik, Corporate Communications and Branding Manager at Sharp. “This year - in its 30th year - GITEX is the right event to launch some of our new technologies in the region. With 100 years of innovation behind it, Sharp has always been the ‘bringer’ of new technologies that change the way we live our lives. Many more ground-breaking innovations are expected to come from Sharp and this year we intend to showcase our display technologies here.”

Sharp’s innovative range of display products are set to form the crux of its presence at GITEX, with the company set to showcase what claims is the ‘world’s-slimmest bezel LCD TV’.

It will also be exhibiting its Aquos Quattron (a four prime colour LCD TV technology with LED backlight), the 3D Quattron LED TV and a 108-inch LCD model. Its full range of 3D projectors will also be available for GITEX visitors to see in all their glory.

Sharp MEA is the regional subsidiary of Japan’s Sharp Corporation and serves more than 80 countries.
