Cloud computing specialist Pano Logic Middle East will be on hand at the Cloud Confex at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK this year, as the emerging technology continues to draw attention from the region’s IT decision makers.

The firm is the exclusive distributor for the Pano Logic range of desktop virtualisation products. These include the Pano Device which the firm terms a “zero client”. Unlike traditional thin clients used on the desktop side, the Pano Device has no computing capacity of any kind such as a processor or an operating system.

It exists simply to connect a range of peripheral input devices, allowing users to work from a virtualised OS instance in the central datacentre. As a result, the lack of IT complexity means it is much easier to support and set up.

“We firmly believe in cloud computing and we are convinced that the audience of the Cloud Confex will appreciate our products, that are extremely innovative, and our strategy,” says Federico Rota, Sales and Marketing Manager at Pano Logic. “We wish that GITEX visitors have the possibility to spare money in their investments in IT infrastructures without giving up in their performances and flexibility and also understand how to better respect our mother nature.”
