Software application development provider Silver Touch is looking forward to the anticipated focus on mobile solutions at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

The company is appearing at GITEX this year to generate new business and market its mobile technologies and enterprise document management systems to government clients and corporate entities. It is also looking to help local companies develop e-commerce platforms.

Silver Touch considers GITEX an ideal event to expand its Middle East business, as the region already contributes 20% of its revenue.

Rushabh Patel, AVP Global Sales at Silver Touch, says it is hoping that a successful showing at GITEX will lead to the Middle East accounting for 30% of its sales in the not-too-distant future. “GITEX is a key event for us to expand in Middle East market,” he comments.

Silver Touch develops mobile applications for a number of smart phone systems, inlcuding the iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, Android and J2ME. It also develops applications in .Net, SharePoint, Java, PHP, Joomla, Magento, Alfresco, Liferay, Drupal and Symphony. The company’s product line-up is completed by document management and content management systems.
