IT Consultants Cognizant will be using this year’s edition of GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK as a chance to showcase its offerings for the banking and financial services sector.

The company’s President and MD for Global Delivery, R Chandrasekaran, will also be speaking on day three of the Global Conference about how companies can get the most from their service provider partners.

The one-hour discussion will cover the options available in the regional market today and the ways in which customers can understand an outsourcer’s strengths and weaknesses.

Cognizant sees this year’s event as a chance to strengthen its brand equity and reach to the numerous partners and customers that will be visiting the event this year.  “Our team of experts at GITEX will talk about the relevant solution accelerators and their benefits to organizsations in terms of faster go-to-market, reduced project timelines, improved cost savings, and faster ROI,” explains Chandrasekaran.

The firm has already established itself in the European and North American markets as a provider of consulting services, IT infrastructure and business process outsourcing. Its present move into the Middle East region is a clear indicator, says Chandrasekaran, of the firm’s belief that the Middle East represents the next great IT horizon.

“That we started our operations in the Middle East in the midst of the global recession speaks volumes about our confidence in the potential of the Middle East market to provide added impetus to our headway,” he explains.
