Software developer Focus Softnet is making Enterprise Resource Planning a key part of its strategy at this year’s GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

The firm plans to showcase its customisable Focus i ERP system, as well as its Focus ARMS (Academic Records Management Solution) product for the higher education market.

“Over the last decade, GITEX propelled us to a different level in our corporate standing in the Middle East and our customer base increased exponentially,” says Ali Hyder, CEO of Focus Softnet.

“This year, we plan to use GITEX as a platform to promote our best-in-class products, such as Focus i and Focus ARMS, to a much wider audience and further our growth prospects and expand our reach across the MENA region.”

The DIC-headquartered firm intends to bring the spotlight to bear on Focus i, which it claims is the first midmarket entry to include built-in business intelligence (BI), a technology which provides in-depth reporting capabilities for a deeper understanding of the business.

The product also includes a Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) module, which provides full support for multi-process production for stocking, order-based, assemble-to-order environments.
