Distributor Logicom will be showcasing some of the latest additions to its vendor line-up as part of its presence at this year’s GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

The company’s stand will include participation from its newest vendor partners, Adobe, Belkin, VMW are and QWaves, to raise awareness of the new technology solutions that these vendors are offering in the Middle East.

Logicom, which claims to serve more than 8,000 customers in 20 countries, will also be presenting solutions from other key vendor partners, including Adobe, APC, Cisco, HP, Intel, Linksys and Microsoft, and demonstrations of new offerings, such as Cisco’s Unified Computing Systems.

Nicholas Argyrides, General Manager at Logicom, explains the importance of GITEX to the company: “This is a once-a-year opportunity to take advantage of the exhibition’s success in attracting the whole IT world to the Middle East. Our intention is to bridge our resellers and vendors together, announce our newest technologies and vendor collaborations, expose the Logicom brand to any potential customers and meet up with our existing clients across the region on a more personal level.”

Argyrides adds: “More than 50% of Logicom Group’s revenues arise from its Middle East operations. It is imperative to look at not only the actual revenue, but also the rate by which the IT market is growing in this region – across all verticals. Even during such challenging economic times, countries such as the UAE, KSA and Qatar are showing signs of both resilience and development,” he says.
