Broadline it distributor FDC is making generating more leads its top priority at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK this year. As far as it is concerned, there are still many opportunities to mine from the regional market and this year’s show is the perfect opportunity to do that.

The company distributes a wide range of products from a number of big names in the IT industry, including Lenovo, Sony, Kingston and Kaspersky.

“Being one of the largest IT distributors in the region, we believe that GITEX is the ideal platform to exhibit and promote our products in the MENA and Eastern Europe market. It will help us to generate new business leads, meet existing customers and also help us to educate and create more brand awareness for the products we carry,” says Alan Pourmirza, infrastructure manager at FDC, which has operations throughout the Middle East region.

The company is divided into a number of subdivisions to better serve the channel, including retail and component sections. As Pourmiza admits, a presence at GITEX is vital towards ensuring the long-term viability of the FDC brand.

“GITEX is the largest IT distribution event in the MENA region. It has now become a standard platform for all the IT-based industry leaders to be a part of it due to its high footfall of visitors throughout the five-day period. Being associated with the GITEX already informs people of how well the company is established and their commitment towards their business,” he concludes.
