Imaging giant Epson will be using this year’s GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK to highlight its new range of products and solutions, as well as using the huge pull of the event to meet face-to-face with many of its existing resellers, distribution and retail partners.

“GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK is the biggest IT gathering in the region,” says Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager for Epson Middle East. “We believe it is the right place to demonstrate our latest products and a good opportunity for us to meet with our partners and customers.

“We also believe that it is a good opportunity to meet new customers and strengthen our relations with our existing ones by exhibiting new technologies and solutions,” he continues. “It is very important for customers to experience and test our new printers, scanners and projectors in a working environment like GITEX.”

The belief that allowing its partners – and potential customers – to get hands on with the company’s products at the show runs right to the core of its reasons for attending the show.

“Our view of GITEX is that it allows us to reassure our partners about our continuous commitment, and provide more confidence to consumers by showcasing the latest innovative products, solutions and after-sales support,” says El-Dalu, who adds that the company plans to have a bumper crop of products on show at this year’s GITEX.

“We will be demonstrating the latest mono and colour laser printers at the exhibition,” continues El-Dalu. “We will also be featuring the new wireless projectors and the latest 3LCD technology projectors that are designed for the education and business sectors.

In addition, the printing vendor plans to demonstrate its latest range of POS products that are designed for different sectors, including retail, healthcare, banking and airline ticketing.
