Iomega Corporation, leaders in innovative storage products, will be focusing the spotlight on its direct-attached external hard drives at this year’s GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

Iomega’s complete range of storage solutions for consumers and small enterprises, including network hard drives and NAS devices, will also be on display at the show along with one of the strongest line-ups of direct-attached desktop and portable external hard drives in the industry today.

According to Jan Jensen, Vice President Sales EMEA at Iomega Corporation, the company will be exhibiting at GITEX since it sees the Middle East as a strategic growth market and has “aggressive plans” for the region.

“The Middle East continues to be a high growth market for Iomega Corporation. Over the past year, we have put a strong team together in the Middle East, led by our regional sales manager Cizar Abughazaleh,” says Jensen.

“Cizar and his team are already implementing channel programmes in the Middle East to ensure continuous support to our business partners and customers. We are also continuing to build our distribution network. From a worldwide perspective, developing the Middle East for business today and for years to come remains high on the agenda.”

Jensen insists GITEX has become an integral part of its growth in the Gulf. “GITEX provides Iomega with an ideal forum for meeting with new and existing customers from all over the region,” he says. “Any time you have an event that brings together the quantity and quality of delegates that GITEX does, you have to be there if you are serious about developing and growing your business in the region.”
