Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) is set to play a major role in the expanded Government section taking place at this year’s GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

Rashed Saqer Al Dhaheri, Director of IT Bureau at Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, says its participation in the show reflects the department’s keen interest in developing judicial services through more focused investment in IT systems and applications.

He explains that the department continues to evaluate the latest technology systems and applications to ensure it is able to meet the customer efficiency and quality targets it sets itself internally.

“ADJD has so far made huge efforts to develop IT infrastructure and systems. The objective is providing the public with easy access to high quality and efficient judicial services. Transactions of the public need to be processed in the shortest time and the highest accuracy in accordance with worldwide best practices,” he says.

Al Dhaheri insists the leadership of the ADJD is not only based on developing new IT projects, but also in deploying innovation when carrying out any implementation.

He says the department has paved the way for introducing new technologies and redefining quality in a competitive market by adopting a world class organisational excellence programme.

The technology initiatives that the judiciary department has embarked on have already led to the organisation winning a series of high calibre regional awards.

Earlier this year, the department netted an industry award for the innovative approach taken to a multi-tiered SAN implementation for information life-cycle management solutions, underscoring its ability to embrace new technology. ADJD’s IT department was also honoured for the way it adopted new solutions to integrate the technology requirements of the department.
