Midis Group’s brand mission Midis is launching its new group identity at Gitex.

Midis Group is preparing for a busy GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK as the company gets set to launch its new group identity. Midis might not sound a familiar name to many people – that’s because until recently it was better known in the market as MDS Holdings.

The regional IT powerhouse, which has interests in distribution, retail and systems integration among other things, intends to make the market fully aware of its new brand identity during GITEX.

“Our presence at GITEX is to highlight our unique size and capabilities – we have 100-plus companies in over 35 countries with a focus on EMEA emerging markets,” explained Peter Kwisthout, Corporate Development and Group Marketing Officer at Midis Group.

“We will also meet our key partners - Mindware and ABM, both part of our group, will be exhibiting as well - and strategic suppliers and customers. Midis has been active for more than 40 years in the Middle East and is highly committed to the region with more than 2,500 employees deployed across all our companies,” said Kwisthout.

Midis chairman, Nabil Bustros, and the majority of the board will be present at GITEX to make use of the opportunity to network with key associates. The Midis Group is also this year’s exclusive sponsor of the Majlis Lounge.
