Electronics vendor BenQ has provided Middle East distribution partners with an update of its channel strategy at a special ‘Global Distributors Meeting' (GDM) in Taiwan.

The vendor used the event to meet with regional partners and share insights into the trends and strategies that are shaping the company's businesses, as well as showcase new product offerings.

"The Middle East and Africa region will be pivotal to BenQ's emergence as one of the top technology companies in the world," said Manish Bakshi, general manager of BenQ MEA.

"The annual GDM serves as an effective platform to share our plans with our partners across the globe as well as learn more about the latest, innovative products that we will soon be introducing to the Middle East and Africa," he added.

BenQ told partners the education market is one of the "high priority" segments where it is looking to increase sales. It recently launched an array of educational projectors in a bid to support its ambitions in this sector.
