High-end telecoms integrator 3W Networks is set to establish a regional engineering centre of excellence within the integrated free zone technology park at Dubai Silicon Oasis.

The facility will combine high value systems design and engineering, 24/7 technical assistance and product assembly. The 1,350 square metre office premises will also host product specialists, engineers and technicians to provide customised solutions.

3W Networks specialties in providing turnkey communications and security solutions for customers in the oil and gas, power utilities, telecoms, transport and fibre optic infrastructure sectors.

"Our strategic choice to set up offices at Dubai Silicon Oasis is an essential part of our regional expansion plan and aligns with our mission to provide advanced, affordable solutions that are engineered and supported locally," said Walid Gamali, CEO at 3W Networks.

"Our new premises will have state-of-the-art systems integration facilities equipped to stage full scale integrated factory acceptance tests of various equipments prior to installation at the project site," he added.

3W Networks has offices in the UAE, Qatar, Oman Egypt, Singapore, South Korea and Australia. It works with a number of networking infrastructure vendors including Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco and Nokia Siemens Networks.
