Vendor says decision is a sign of the growing diversity and importance of the mid-market in the region

SAP to release Arabic ERP solution SAP is to release an Arabic version of its ERP software

SAP is to release an Arabic version of its All-in-One Enterprise Resource Planning software before the end of the month.

The ERP solution will be made available to both its existing and new customers, and has been specially designed for the needs of Arabic speaking mid-market sector in the Middle East and North Africa.

According to SAP, the launch of an Arabic version signifies the growing need for ERP software in the region. “The strength and vibrancy of the mid-market sector in the MENA region comes as a result of companies continuously striving to innovate – region-relevant business solutions that cater for this strategically important market are crucial to its ongoing success,” said Sergio Maccotta, managing director of SAP Middle East and North Africa.

“With an average of two new customers selecting SAP business solution in the MENA region per week, and the mid-market sector accounting for more than 50 per cent of SAP’s revenue, we are committed to supporting our customers in this field with tools that allow companies to leverage industry, best practices and the agility to responds quickly to market changes and today in Arabic as well.”
