EMS expands African business with launches in Cote D'Ivoire ad Benin

Emitac Mobile Solutions continues building its business in the African region. Recently the company has introduced BlackBerry solution in two important African markets.

In April, Atlantique Telecom, Emitac Mobile Solutions and Research In Motion (RIM) announced the launch of the BlackBerry solution for Moov customers in Cote D'Ivoire. Later on during the month, Etisalat Benin (operating under the Moov brand), Emitac Mobile Solutions (EMS) and Research in Motion (RIM) announced the launch of the BlackBerry solution for Moov customers in Benin.

The BlackBerry brings together smartphone, software and services to allow easy wireless access to email, phone, calendar, web, multimedia and other business and lifestyle applications. Customers and enterprises in both markets will now be able to enjoy the freedom and productivity benefits of using BlackBerry Smartphone to stay connected to people and information while on the go.

By completing those two launches, Emitac Mobile Solutions will have a total of 44 live operators in the African region, a growth of 57% in customers in the last 12 months. The company is also in the process of finalizing a number of additional deals in Africa which will be announced in the next few months.
