The soccer game is not the only big thing Sony has going for the 3D tvs. A big game Killzone 3 is being released this year in 3D so that will up the sales. Also most 3D tvs are not 1080p and correct me if I am wrong but I do believe Sony's 3D tv is
Isn't Sony cutting it to short with a July release of the 3D TVs and completely missing the boat on FIFA in 3D?
Even in july it is kind of last minute, people who want to view the games in 3D will have already bought from the competitors. Again, it's sad that this region does not fall under "priority" strategy when presenting anything new.
Granted it's a small market... but a market with money none-the-less.
Hopefully, unlike it's competitors in the malls. Sony would be responsible enough *not* to show Pseudo 2d to 3D conversion abilities of a TV set just to move boxes.
Some of the 3D TVs are doing this, oblivious to the bad effects it may have on people's eyes.
