Dimension Data has been certified as a global partner for Cisco. The systems integrator is one of only four organisations that have gained the Global Certification status, which certifies that the company can sell, deploy and support Cisco solutions anywhere in the world.

In order to qualify for Global Certification, Dimension Data had to establish global resale agreements in six theatres of operation, and pass numerous certification benchmarks.

Brett Dawson, CEO of Dimension Data said: "We are delighted to be awarded this prestigious status, and are proud to be one of four organizations in the world to be recognised by Cisco for our global reach and industry leadership. In addition, the Cisco certification validates our execution capabilities and vast global coverage in 49 countries across all six Cisco Theatres.

"The Group's nearly 20 year partnership with Cisco continues to play an important role in ensuring Dimension Data delivers world-class solutions and service to its clients in the networking, voice, security, storage, unified communications, and contact centre markets," he added.

Nader Atout, managing director of the Gulf Region, Dimension Data said: ‘We are delighted to receive the Global certification from Cisco, which reconfirms our commitment to our partners globally. We will continue to provide consistent service and innovative solutions to our clients while ensuring that we deliver real business value."
