Aptec and APC team up for partner programme event Aptec’s Sabbahuddin Khan reckons APC’s new channel programme will be a valuable resource for resellers.

IT distributor Aptec and critical power systems vendor APC are jointly hosting a one-day partner programme conference for resellers in Dubai this week.

The event, which takes place on Wednesday at the Grand Hyatt, is designed to educate and train partners on APC's channel programme and product portfolio.

The pair expects close to 100 resellers to attend the conference, lured by the promise of advice on how to turn market challenges into new opportunities and develop sales and engineering competencies to match customer solutions and generate fresh business.

APC's Channel Partner Programme contains a bevy of tools and resources which the company is keen to articulate to resellers. The four-tiered scheme claims to offer clear and differentiated paths with various pricing and promotional benefits, as well as access to a network of qualified solution engineers.

Sabbahuddin Khan, business unit manager at Aptec, believes that as well as satisfying the needs of existing APC partners, the programme will also attract the attention of dealers selling rival products.

"Partner programmes always help build common short term and long term objectives," he said. "The new APC Partner Programme will catch the focus of the channel community. We feel that channels that are currently competing with APC will find this programme exciting as well."
