Fujitsu has launched a new mini-PC in the United Arab Emirates that can be personalised with custom skins.

The fully equipped Q1501 mini PC, which costs $755 (about AED 2,700), is the latest addition to the firm's Esprimo Q line that boasts low power consumption. But what sets this model apart from others is the custom skin option that, for a little extra money, allows customers to select and order the design of their choice.

The compact computer is described as "the ideal living-room PC for music, films, photos and games" weighing just 1.4kg. Other specifications of the compact computer include the Intel Core i3 processor, up to 4 GB memory, a 500 GB hard disk drive and optional WLAN and Bluetooth.

"The new Esprimo Q series models reiterate that great things come in small packages," said Chandan Mehta, product manager, Fujitsu Technology Solutions. "We've created these tiny new Esprimo PC family models to meet increasing demand for eco-friendly PCs, particularly in the small office and home office space. Although the Esprimo Q series models are tiny, almost silent in operation and their power consumption is minimal, they still pack a considerable performance punch."

The Q1510 is can be bought at all leading resellers including Lucky Star and Achiever Computers in Bur Dubai and Jebel Ali-based Your Electronic Store (Distributech).
