By  Vineetha Menon Published  March 15, 2010 will kick off their Virtual Technology Job Fair on March 28th in the hope of connecting qualified candidates and skilled graduates with  technology companies in the region.

The five day expo, held in cooperation with the Dubai Internet City. is the first time has launched an industry-specific version of their "hugely popular" Virtual Job Fair that took place in 2008.

"Today, employers and job seekers alike realise the myriad advantages that using the Internet for recruitment brings," commented Amer Zureikat,  regional manager at "By launching our first industry specific version of our popular virtual job fair, we are excited about connecting top talent with the region's leading technology employers - in a dedicated, sophisticated, and highly relevant forum. We are confident that it will be hugely popular among all technology industry players and job seekers, and may signal the start of more industry specific job fairs online, in the future." says the Fair will feature animated 3D booths for different participating companies that detail the company's business activities, corporate culture and recruitment practices. Candidates will also be able to use a CV drop option to directly submit their application to the company of their choice or in response to advertised jobs, with the opportunity to interact through a text-based or video chat session.

"Because at we conduct our job fairs online, professionals that are currently employed but are seeking new employment don't have to take time off work to visit a physical location...What has also proven so popular with job seekers is the fact that the fair is completely confidential, so professionals can search and apply for jobs discretely from any Internet-accessible computer," added Zureikat.
