LG has launched a new ultra-portable notebook that's said to last all day with a battery life of 10.5 hours between charges.

The LG WideBook T380 is 13.3-inch thick and weighs 1.89 kilograms. It's fitted with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, paired with up to 4GB DDR2 memory, that's said to double the performance of a netbook fitted with an Atom CPU but consuming 60% less power than a normal CPU.

"An emerging trend in the notebook market is for consumers to look towards products with long-lasting batteries blended with desktop performance," said H.S Paik, president of LG Electronics Gulf FZE. "We are intently focusing on enhancing mobility and connectivity while ensuring productivity. In light of this, we believe that the LG T380 is at the forefront of notebook design and engineering, and helps LG cement its position as a leader in the mobile computing industry."

The LG T380 with Microsoft Windows 7 will be available across the United Arab Emirates by the end of March for AED 3,099.
