There are now just five days left to get your nominations in for this year's Channel Middle East Awards.

Entries must be received by the end of play this coming Thursday (18th February) if you're to stand any chance of glory when the 2010 Channel Middle East Awards ceremony and gala dinner takes place at the end of March.

The outcome of this year's awards is shaping up to be the most intriguing yet due to the challenges that the regional market place has faced in the past 12 months.

The eventual victors, who will follow in the footsteps of previous winners such as Cisco, Microsoft, Aptec, Redington and Sharaf DG, will truly be able to say that they have shown excellence in their field during a period when the market has been under more pressure than ever before.

Once again there are 16 awards up for grabs, with categories for both vendors and the channel community, including distributors, retailers, resellers and systems integrators. So if you fit into any of the above make the most of these next five days and get your nomination in before it's too late!

As the Channel Middle East Awards are about recognising channel development and achievement, the judges will be looking closely for entries that demonstrate clear examples of those aspects.

Vendors are therefore required to outline the channel investments they made during 2009 and the steps they took to foster channel development.

Distributors, resellers and retailers, meanwhile, will need to demonstrate why they deserve the award in their chosen category by giving details of company achievements and initiatives during the past year.

If you haven't already done so then download an official nomination form from the official awards website and send it across to us. You can reach it at this link:

If you have any questions about the nomination procedure between now and Thursday then you can contact me at +971 4 210 8320 or

Good luck!
