McAfee brings better security to SMBs
McAfee releases new range of SMB services to assist with installation and deployment of its products.
McAfee's new Quickstart range of services will make security easier for SMBs.
Security vendor McAfee has launched a new bundle of services targeted specifically at small-to-medium businesses (SMB). The Security Quickstart Services range is expected to deliver a range of benefits to customers, including assistance with implementations, user training and help with security best practices.
The standalone services include Quickstart Training, which provides a year of unlimited access to McAfee product and technology video training modules, and Quickstart Healthcheck, which claims to automatically assess the security readiness of SMB security policies. The services also include Experts-on-demand, providing IT teams with access to remote-based consultants who have experience with installing and configuring McAfee security products.
Darrell Rodenbaugh, senior vice president of global midmarket for McAfee said on the release of the services: "Our research shows organisations that put more effort into preventing attacks can end up spending less than a third as much as those that allow themselves to be at risk. We understand that SMBs have limited resources and expertise, so we're giving them what they need to get up and running quickly, for very little cost. With McAfee Security Quickstart Services, we can now offer enterprise-level solutions that help our SMBs gain the knowledge they need to keep their business secure."
