Panasonic has released a new high-definition LCD television which has been specially customised for the Middle Eastern market.

The A-Series TV is part of the company's Viera line and is said to be 'ideal' for mid-sized apartments in the region. Features include full-range speaker units that point downward from the bottom of the display unit, a display panel life of up to 60,000 hours, still image playback and network functionality.

"The VIERA A-Series LCD had been customized exclusively for the Middle East market," stated Abby Thomas, senior manager, Consumer Electronics Department, Panasonic Marketing Middle East. "We have designed the A-series to match the changing lifestyle of our customers, who are looking for a one-stop solution to smart networking in their homes, and our product does exactly that. VIERA which is more than just a TV, allows customers to personalize the channel they are viewing and enjoy their favorite moments with friends."

Thomas added that the customised LCD television "is sure to meet the demands of the region's increasingly tech-savvy and fashionable consumer".
