SAPESCO selects HCL Technologies for SAP roll out The SAP ERP deployment will help SAPESCO improve operations across Egypt, Libya and Syria.

Egypt's Sahara Petroleum Services Company (SAPESCO), has signed an agreement with Indian technology services provider HCL Technologies for an SAP implementation project.

The project will bring the benefits of SAP ERP to the oilfield services company's operations in Egypt, Libya and Syria, with efficiencies in processes, standardized systems and controls, and enhanced business transparency.

SAPESCO will deploy a number of SAP modules including Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Materials Management, Project Systems, Plant Maintenance, Sales, Human Capital Management, Document Management and SAP Business Warehouse for Analytics.

HCL will use the Rapid Deployment Toolkit (RDT) for the Oilfield Services Sector from its HCL Axon subsidiary, to speed deployment of the solution.
