Telelocic, The IT services and solutions unit of Emirates Holdings, says managed services have benefited from the economic downturn.
“It’s cost effective for a client,” says Praveen Prabhakar, Territory Manager in Abu Dhabi.
“For you to handle your IT team, to invest in the infrastructure and software, is quite expensive. Managed services is the thing as of now,” he adds.
The company was established in 2005 after being spun off from Emircom, the technology and telecommunications unit of Emirates Holdings.
