DVS pronounces strong sales for end-to-end retail

Dynamic Vertical Solutions (DVS) says regional sales of end-to-end retail solution LS Retail NAV have been strong thanks to the opening of a number of shopping malls in the last year.

“We’re doing well. We’ve seen a slight decline, but there are malls opening in Dubai all the time, and shops need our systems,” says Ken Strettle, a Customer Service Manager.

LS Retail NAV is an integrated solution that delivers the breadth and depth of functionality demanded by busy retailers without the need to build, manage and maintain multiple applications and interfaces.

Its unique use of a single application to cover everything from the Point of Sale (POS) terminals, store systems, and all the functions that are found in a retailer’s head office sets LS Retail apart from other solutions in the market, the company says. The set-up can range from a single store with one POS to a complex, multi-store environment, according to the organisation.

The product is built on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, which means the POS, back office and head office all use the same application.This makes it possible to track individual transactions from the POS to the general ledger.

It also means that users have access to other parts of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV application, such as finance, customer relationship management (CRM), warehousing and service.

With the integration between LS Retail and Microsoft Dynamics NAV, users need only become familiar with one interface and the same logic applies to usage at all levels.
