Systems integration and distibution outfit X-Concepts has signed two major vendors to its portfolio at GITEX Technology Week.

The channel firm, which says it is following an aggresive strategy toward adding vendors to its books, has closed deals with both Motorola and Avaya at GITEX.

Based in Dubai, X-Concepts specialises in wireless area networks (WAN) solutions, wireless products and communuications solutions. At the moment it has 15 brands that it currently works with in the Middle East including AvaLan Wireless, Deliberant, LigoWave and Wiligear. On top of that the company is now proud to say that it is an official partner of both Avaya and Motorola.

“We have signed an agreement with Motorola and Avaya during Gitex,” confirms X-Concept’s Executive SalesManager, Liniza Fathieva.

“We have promised to become [Avaya’s] resellers in the Middle East and Gulf region. We have already shown them that we have a market for them and we have established a contract to get a series of IP-phones based on PBX and VoIPs and voice phones that we are very interested in as well,” she adds.

Working with Avaya was very attractive for the channel player, not only because of the vendor’s strength in the market, but also because of the levels of support that it has pledged to X-Concepts to support its efforts.
