Go4fiber has a strong message at GITEX Technology Week, that fibre is the future for communications and IT. Go4fiber is Asia’s first online fibre optic superstore.

With the increasing demand for bandwidth in the Middle East and around the world, uptake of fibre optic solutions is only going to grow.

“Fibre-To-The-x (FTTx) is one of the hottest topics today, and the only technology with enough bandwidth to handle projected consumer demands during the next decade, reliably and cost effectively,” claims Leo Lam, a representative at go4fiber.

“Fibre itself has a virtually unlimited bandwidth that it can be regarded as a steady medium,” adds Lam.

Although fibre is a more expensive alternative to copper solutions, it offers greater bandwidth and has longer life-span than copper.
