NetComm has exclusively launched its NetComm MyZone portable hotspot at GITEX Technology Week.

Resembling a sleek mobile phone, the device allows users to share their 3G connection wirelessly allowing laptops or PDA’s to connect and access the internet on the go.

“We will be showing Etisalat this product today, we have got a big presentation and we have already launched two products with them,” explains Brett Stevens, Wireless Broadband Product Manager at NetComm.

“We have also got two products that we are launching in the next couple of months. The first is a 21 megabit-per-second router and the other is a voice and fax router that is using the 3G mobile network,” adds Stevens.

The MyZone is aimed at mobile business workers and is further suited for this end-user vertical due to a built in VPN endpoint which improves the connectivity with the network in the office as well.
