The IT solutions market is on the verge of recovery, with November expected to be busy, an industry insider predicts.

“The market is a bit slow, but in this region we are seeing a bit of comeback. Things are starting to move and we expect November to be a bit pushy,” explains Ovidiu Oancea, General Manager, Vector.

Vector is a supplier of Oracle solutions, offering CRM, ERP and financial management software and working closely as a partner of Oracle.

“We are a complete Oracle shop so we implement Oracle applications. We mainly focus on high end products. In the technology part we cover everything and mainly focus on security,” explains Vector’s Oancea.

“We come here every year because we are an exclusive partner of Oracle, so every year we come here and we take part in some presentations, invite our customers to meet us and meet new people,” he adds.

Oancea believes that the company’s high end product focus means it has escaped the worst of the economic downturn. “We have a focus on high profile products and these are solutions which companies need if they are in crisis or not. They need loyalty for their customers, they need profitability, they need to plan, they need to secure the business, so in crisis or not, they need to keep budgets for these elements,” says Oancea.

He also reveals that the company is currently in a building phase, during which time it will be perfecting the delivery of solutions it has on offer, before utilising this expertise when the market gets busier.
