China-based Mulam Electronics is showcasing its line-up of Qur’an phones this GITEX Technology Week.

The three-year-old firm specialises in phones to appeal to devout Muslims, including features such as the full text of the holy Qur’an, translated into 30 languages, prayer alarms, and a built-in compass to locate Makkah.

In addition, the phones carry a range of standard features such as Bluetooth and dual-SIM card functions. The firm lists the Middle East as its largest target market, followed by Southeast Asia.
