Fibre firm CTC Union Technologies aims to boost its presence in the region this week as a precursor to establishing a base in the UAE.

Taiwan-based CTC, established in 1993, provides customers around the world with fibre conversion series XDSL and PDH, IP networking, testing and IP surveillance solutions.

CTC Union’s International Account Manager, Jeffery Huang, says: “Dubai is the key location as a financial and logistical centre in the Middle East. That’s why we chose Dubai as our expected promotional location, and GITEX is the biggest computer and telecommunication show the in Middle East.”

Huang says that by exhibiting this week and promoting its products and services, CTC Union hopes to find new distributors and customers. He sees the expo as a means to explore further markets and get to know customers.
