For server specialist Fujitsu Technology Solutions, the highlight of this year’s GITEX Technology Week will be its new virtualised and energy efficient product, the Dynamic Cube.

Also known as the PRIMERGY BX900 blade server system, the company believes the new range will be a turning point in its mission to become the number one x86 server manufacturer in the world.

Chandan Mehta, Product Manager for Fujitsu Technology Solutions speaks very highly of the opportunities GITEX provides to meet future clients: “Gitex has always presented us with the opportunity to meet our existing as well as potential customers and further promote our solutions. Our presence at OracleWorld this year will give us the opportunity to leverage our newer solutions such as the new-generation PRIMERGY BX900 that raises the stakes in virtualisation and energy-efficiency, a must for organisations seeking to achieve cost savings and increasing IT systems’ agility at the same time.”

“We are also addressing the concerns of SMB’s with the TX100 S1 server. It is affordable and will allow small businesses to move away from using a PC in combination with an external hard drive for storage and upgrade to a proper business class server,” he adds.

Fujitsu confirmed that in addition to the TX100 S1 SMB-focused server, the company will also be shining a light on its FUTRO Thin client systems – which, like its notebook range, are increasingly growing in popularity. In terms of customers it is trying to court at the show, channel partners and industry specialists are high on the hit list for Fujitsu Technology Solutions.
