Brother Gulf is launching two compact, high-speed colour printers and three MFCs for SMB, corporate and home users at GITEX Technology Week. The company is also unveiling a new Arabic P-touch label printer model at this year’s event.

The manufacturer says that a substantial shift from monochrome to colour printers and multifunction centres (MFCs) is being monitored across the Middle East. Brother bases this assertion on latest reports from the IDC, which suggest that the regional colour laser printer and MFC market is projected to record a 15 per cent growth by year-end.

“The massive shift from monochrome to colour printers is largely driven by the decreasing costs of owning and using colour printing equipment, with the advent of technologies, which make printing in colour more accessible to users, whether SMBs, corporate or even home users,” says Shinji Tada, Managing Director, Brother International Corporation Gulf.

“Our presence at this year’s GITEX will focus on the new products, which we will be launching to address the growing demand for colour printers and MFCs in the region. In addition, we will focus on highlighting these products’ capacity to address users’ requirements on printing in colour through wireless connectivity and faster print speeds,” Tada continues.

In addition to its new offerings, Brother Gulf is also showcasing its corporate users the capacity of its latest products, which the company says offer lower running costs with a higher toner capacity option. The manufacturer is exhibiting the rest of the products in its portfolio during the event, while conducting demonstrations, highlighting MFCs under each category.

Brother Gulf will also host a gala dinner for its distributor’s on October 21st at the Monarch Hotel, Dubai.
