The Oracle World stand is likely to be a popular venue for GITEX Technology Week visitors, with the business software vendor planning no fewer than four product launches during the course of the show.

Oracle has the event's largest booth and intends to use its presence to provide educational experience to customers and partners. A host of Oracle experts will be on hand to engage software enthusiasts in industry seminars and vertical demonstrations.

"This is an excellent opportunity to show our commitment to the region and our market leadership," says Husam Dajani, Senior Vice-President of Oracle Middle East and Africa.

"This year we will launch various cutting-edge products into the region exclusively at GITEX. At the same time, our partners, customers and industry experts will benefit from interactive discussions about the latest industry trends and issues."

One of the most eagerly-awaited products that Oracle is launching at GITEX is its Fusion Middleware 11g, a middleware application infrastructure family which helps to achieve IT efficiency and enhance investments in enterprise applications.

In addition to that, the vendor is aiming to make grid computing even more accessible by introducing the Oracle Database 11g Release 2, while the Oracle Applications User Group (OAUG) will be unveiled for the first time ever this week. If that isn't enough, Oracle Exadata V2 - the Oracle Exadata storage server - will also be aired.

Oracle World will offer a unique opportunity to view live demonstrations of the latest products being launched.
