Genius Computer Technology (GCT) plans to give visitors to GITEX Technology Week hands-on demonstrations in an effort to grow product and brand awareness.

The company boasts a huge portfolio consisting of keyboards, mice, wireless solutions, home and personnel entertainment products as well as multimedia speakers, and sold 40 million products in 2008.

GCT has a permanent base in the UAE and believes that GITEX makes for an ideal platform to create and spread awareness.

"GCT has been associated with GITEX for the past 11 years. We consider this show as the perfect platform to launch new products and services and demonstrate our entire product range in this rapidly paced market," says Milad Jabbour, GCT's President and CEO. "This show also gives us a good opportunity to meet with our clients and potential clients. GCT establishes new ventures during the event and reaffirms our existing channel relationships."

Genius says that it has seen growing interest in the show over the years and considers it an important business-boosting tool.

"The number of quality visitors has increased, which helps us to convey our success story to the channel community and end users. We consider this exhibition a vital window to important markets. We can also reach out to customers from all the regions, particularly from Africa and the CIS markets," concluded Jabbour.
