As one of the world's leading telecom vendors, Alcatel-Lucent has no shortage of messages to communicate to the region's telecoms ecosystem. And in line with this, the company will have a strong presence at GULFCOMMS, allowing it to highlight its ability to offer communications solutions across a broad range of sectors.

Alcatel-Lucent's booth will demonstrate its products and services for key industries, with a portfolio of solutions geared toward industries like healthcare, hospitality and finance, where "savvy companies are leveraging their communications network investments" to differentiate from their rivals, according to Vincenzo Nesci, Vice President, Alcatel-Lucent Middle East and Africa.

"As issues like security, compliance, outsourcing and other new enterprise business models drive network transformation, and IP technology expands the services capabilities of enterprises and service providers alike, solutions from Alcatel-Lucent are enabling enhanced employee productivity and customer satisfaction," he said.

"With the Middle East telecoms market fast becoming the focal point for international and regional players Alcatel-Lucent will have a strong presence at GULFCOMMS," he says.

GULFCOMMS is also important to Alcatel-Lucent owing to the importance the company attaches to the region. "We are the trusted partner of some of the largest regional operators in the Middle East including Orascom Telecom, Etisalat and Vodafone," Nesci adds.

"Alcatel-Lucent is also collaborating with hundreds of other regional and local service providers, to bring advanced, affordable and convenient services to customers across the region."
