Multifunction centre specialist Brother will be taking the wraps off several new colour and mono laser printers featuring wireless capabilities and higher toner capacities.

A long-time participant at GITEX Technology Week, the company plans to use the event as a chance to connect with regional resellers and end-users and get the opinions of how Brother's products are performing.

"We want to use GITEX Technology Week as the launchpad to unveil our latest range of compact, high-speed colour printers and multifunction centres to small and medium sized business, corporate and home users," says Shinji Tada, Managing Director for Brother International Gulf. "Our goal in our participation is to meet as many existing and potential users who are seeking information and need solutions for their printing needs."

Brother's diverse product lines go beyond laser and inkjet multifunction centres to include digital copier printers, thermal and laser-based fax machines, typewriters and labelling solutions.

The company, which offers three-year warranties that come at no extra cost, claims its products are both faster and occupy a smaller footprint than devices from its rivals, giving customers overall value for their printer investment.

Tada relates his experience of participating in previous editions of GITEX: "Brother Gulf has been participating at this event for a very long time. It is an ideal venue to showcase new products to end-users and the reseller channels in the Gulf region. We also use this opportunity for existing customers to meet us and provide us with valuable feedback.

"The Middle East is an important market that will grow in the years to come. While the size of this market is small compared to global revenues, it continues to enjoy a very important position within the company. As a matter of fact, Brother Gulf was established specifically to cater to and grow the business in the Middle East," he adds.
