Value added distributor FVC has bolstered its security and compliance software offering by striking a regional agreement with nCircle.

The Dubai-based outfit will carry the vendor’s Suite360 in the region, allowing channel partners to use its network security solutions to target large enterprises. nCircle’s technology is designed to reduce business risk and help companies comply with security and regulatory policies.

KS Parag, managing director at FVC — which makes around US$40m a year in sales — says that with businesses across the region becoming more connected, adequate IT security remains imperative.

“The agreement with nCircle will allow us to provide regional enterprises with world-class security and compliance solutions that include support for web applications, databases, operating systems, and network devices in a single system, giving direct, actionable visibility into the real threats to mitigate risk and remain compliant,” he said.

nCircle, which is based in the US and operates an EMEA office from the UK, is confident the tie-up will help it to develop a footprint in the Middle East market.

“The distribution agreement with FVC gives us access to their expertise, strong presence and reseller network across the Middle East and North Africa.” stated Gus Malezis, VP worldwide sales and support at nCircle. “We develop innovative business security and compliance solutions that provide strong revenue potential for our partners.”
